【Case summary】The saw blade is an important part of the aluminum plate cutting machine , and its requirements are also very high. Due to the large cutting volume and high precision requirements, many things need to be paid attention to when selecting saw blades for aluminum profile cutting machines. A series of parameters such as material, diameter, number of teeth, thickness, aperture, etc. are combined into the whole of the carbide saw blade, and it must be selected and matched reasonably to better exert its advantages. Mintech Electronics suggests that you can choose the saw blade of the aluminum plate cutting machine according to the following aspects.

The saw blade is an important part of the aluminum plate cutting machine , and its requirements are also very high.

  1. Diameter

In the case of the same thickness, the size of the blade diameter determines the cutting output. Small diameters produce low yields. On the contrary, large diameters provide high yields. The outer diameter of the saw blade is selected according to the different aluminum plate cutting machine models to use the saw blade with the same diameter.

  2. Material

Aluminum cutting machine blades generally use cemented carbide, and good equipment generally uses tungsten carbide alloy steel.

  3. Number of teeth

Generally speaking, the more teeth, the more cutting edges can be cut per unit time, the better the cutting performance, but the more cutting teeth require more cemented carbide, the higher the price of the saw blade. However, if the saw teeth are too dense, the amount of chips between the teeth becomes smaller, which is likely to cause the saw blade to heat up. In addition, there are too many saw teeth. When the feed amount is not properly matched, the cutting amount of each tooth is small, which will aggravate the friction between the cutting edge and the workpiece and affect the service life of the cutting edge. Usually the tooth spacing is 15-25mm, and a reasonable number of teeth should be selected according to the material to be sawed.

  4. Aperture

The aperture is a relatively simple parameter, which is mainly selected according to the requirements of the equipment, but in order to maintain the stability of the saw blade, a larger aperture is used for the saw blade above 250MM. Regardless of the size of the hole, it can be modified by a lathe or a wire cutting machine. The lathe can be turned into a gasket with a large hole, and the wire cutting machine can expand the hole to meet the requirements of the equipment.

  5. Thickness

The thickness of the saw blade theoretically we hope that the thinner the saw blade is, the better, the sawing is actually a consumption. The material of the alloy saw blade base and the process of manufacturing the saw blade determine the thickness of the saw blade. If the thickness is too thin, the saw blade is easy to shake when working, which affects the cutting effect. When choosing the thickness of the saw blade, the stability of the saw blade and the material to be cut should be considered.
